Rog?©'s piano has been recorded at a slightly greater distance than I've found in recent modern piano recordings. Here, I feel this perspective works admirably, allowing Rog?© to accentuate the contrasts in weight, sonority, and the often delicate colors of these pieces. Here, I feel, the contrasts were more in Rog?©'s hands than in those of the engineers. Satie has been well served." (Fanfare Magazine) Track Listing:
