This disc provides a great window into the evolution of "Revolver". And while much of this material is available

elsewhere, it's in good quality here...and though 8 takes of "For No One" might test anyone's patience, it's good to

have all this material together under one roof thematically. The unique Take 5 version of "Got To Get You Into My

Life" is a real treat with it's gospel-inspired backing vocals. And if you don't have them already, this disc is

worth tracking down just to hear the evolution of "She Said She Said" from John's demo tapes:

"I know what it is to be mad,
and it's making me feel like my trousers are torn"

Too bad that line didn't survive into the final version!
